WARRANTY PROVISIONS
Altima Kitchens and Closets warrants that Custom Cabinetry, Wall units, Bar, custom closets, organizers, and Vanities manufactured, processed, supplied, and installed will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of Five (5) years from the date of Installation.
The Warrant covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use for the warranty period. During the warranty period, our company will replace or repair, at no charge, products or parts of products that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
Cabinet Doors made of natural wood like Oak or maple would have natural variations consequently your cabinets may contain grains different from the sample shown. Also, wood grains may vary from conceptual renderings or displays. Wood darkens with age and special ultraviolet protectors are added to custom finishes but do not prevent the wood from darkening.
Wood is a natural material and stain penetration may vary with wood type and grain patterns. Variations may occur from door to door and even between components of the same door. some application and appearance variations are expected in hand-applied finishes and it is a standard of the industry.
Exposed ends are matched to finish and might vary in some cases due to the nature of the wood. All wood doors may expand and contract with changes in humidity levels. Exposure to sunlight may also change colour over time
The Kitchen cabinetry also contains hardware items such as door handles, hinges and drawer glides on which we provide a limited Lifetime Warranty that these hardware items will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
Our warranties specifically exclude 1. Damage resulting from defects, movement or failure in the structure on which the Product is installed; 2. Damage to the Product caused by any application of cleaning solutions, paints, coatings or modifications of any kind; or 3. Damage resulting from improper maintenance or additions, deletions or alterations made by the homeowner.
Altima Kitchens and Closets is not responsible or liable for delays in delivery due to circumstances of force majeure or any other condition or contingencies beyond its control.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Neither Altima Kitchens and Closets nor any of its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, authorized agents or dealers shall be liable for consequential, indirect, special, incidental, or similar damages, such as loss of business revenues, profits or savings, even if We or any of our representatives are advised of the possibility of these damages. Our liability is limited to the repairs and/or replacement cost of the defect in the material and/or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
GOVERNANCE
Disputes regarding this Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, and the applicable laws of Canada.
